"Maison agréable ! Nous avons passé un agréable séjour à 4 dans cette maison. Cependant la maison n'est pas réellement adaptée pour 4 personnes, pas suffisamment de serviettes de bain ni de vaisselle (manque tasses, bols, etc.). Le frigo est suffisant si vous passez un week-end mais un peu petit pour un séjour de plus longue durée. L'endroit calme et paisible. Une très bonne maison tout de même !"

"We had a lovely week here in August. The pool was great for the kids and the peace, quiet and lovely wine was great for the adults. The village is a nice setting and also very quiet this time of year but the local town of Bar-sur-Aube had everything we needed. Location is great with the theme park of Nigloland just 15 minutes away and the wonderful town of Troyes also near for a change of scenery. " We had 11 people stay (5 kids, 6 adults) and could accomodate all of us in the 3 bedrooms and 2 in the lounge. The rural location was superb with the lakes/beaches a short drive away, the L Aube river 'beach' with rope swing, the pool and Nigloland. Sylvie was incredibly helpful and responsive. We did have some issues with the leaking following some heavy thunderstorms. But overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and meeting the sheep."

"Le gîte Chez Marcel se situe dans un village de l'aube. La localisation nous a permis de visiter les environs (Troyes, forêt d'orient, Nigloland et autres villages/châteaux). La maison nous a semblé plus grande que sur les photos, au calme avec vue sur les vignes de champagne. Ça reste une maison de campagne donc une souris était rentré dans la maison pendant notre séjour. Le village n'est pas des plus vivant à part les viticulteurs ! On a tout de même bien profité."

"The whole group really enjoyed staying here for a week in August. There was plenty of parking in the front courtyard. The bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. Two of us enjoyed playing the grand piano in the upstairs sitting room. It had a lovely tone. This room was a beautiful and quiet space away from the action downstairs. "Superbly located property in easy walking distance of Bar sur Aube. Ideally situated within walking distance of at least 4 champagne houses. If you love Champagne this is the place for you. The property was more than ideal for the two of us with plenty of space to spread out; including on a beautifully appointed terrace. Great to have access to a bbq. Kind, sympathetic and generous owners. We loved it here and are already planning our return visit next year."
