The location is perfect since many attractions and restaurants are walking distance. Extra special to see fruit and the famous Sacher torte waiting for us in the room. And we had no idea that this is where Julie Andrews stayed when filming Sound of Music!"

"Very clean and modern. Like any European hotel in the heart of the old city, the spaces are small, but everything is new and modern and clean. The beds were comfortable. The shower water pressure and temperature were excellent. The bathroom was small but modern and clean and functional. Breakfast was included from 6:00-10:00 AM. The food was excellent with lots of varieties. The location is excellent. It is on walking distance from the train station and right at the start of the Main Street of Alstadt (Old Town). Therefore, most attractions are accessible by walking. "
