The property is beautiful and straddles the Douro River. The roads are not really walkable - narrow, no sidewalks. The breakfast was great. The restaurants lunch and dinner was mediocre. The restaurant did face the beautiful Douro River and had tremendous views. The rooms were nice but not special.

This hotel is beautiful ! The hotel staff was absolutely amazing ! Manuela made our trip , she was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to help us get to the hotel , emailing us train info , contacting a cab to pick us up at the train . The day we wanted to tour the area she once again organized transportation and recommendations for the area . Her English was perfect ( very helpful for the Americans) The view from this property where gorgeous ! The weather was a bit cool so we didn’t get to use the pool but it couldn’t have looked more lovely. Great food and great service. We will be back

Fínt hótel en stendur ekki undir 4 stjörnum. Léleg, hæg þjónusta á síðdegisbarnum, ekki til stólar við öll borðin úti og ekki hægt að fá allt sem stóð á kokteil listanum. Góð þjónusta við innritun. Góður morgunmatur. Umhverfið frábært en lítil sem engin þjónusta í nágreninu. Útsýnið yndislegt. Skemmtilegur bíltúr til og frá.

Espetacular!

O Hotel Porto Antigo é um dos nossos hotéis preferidos. Além de estar localizado numa região maravilhosa, às margens do Rio Douro, tem uma equipe muito simpática e eficiente, um delicioso café da manhã e um restaurante que serve deliciosas refeições. Sempre que vamos à Portugal separamos alguns dias para nos hospedar neste hotel.

Location on the river and scenery were lovely. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, however could do with having tea and coffee making facilities in them and also having an iron and ironing board available (the reception said they did not have any at the hotel!).

Fantastisk udsigt til Douro

Stille hotel med dejlig udsigt til Douro. Restauranten serverer veltilberedt traditionel mad. Dejlig mindre ren pool og gode liggestole.
