"A beautiful home. Our problem was we had no phone service so unable to use what’s app to contact the owner and the people who looked after the property spoke no English. We were unable to get Wi-Fi and had no television."

"This is a great place, but there’s a couple of things you need to know before renting.First, if you can’t tell from the pictures, only the bedroom and bathroom are enclosed, the kitchen is completely open – no screens. That means bugs – it's Costa Rica after all. No mosquitoes, but beetles, flies, little flying things, and the occasional millipede. "Our stay at Mario and his families place was exquisite. We will definitely recommend his property for future stays. One issue that has gone unresolved is with VRBO. I was charged extra fees that their helpdesk representative could not justify. When opening a ticket with their helpdesk to have the issue resolved, they closed the ticket without any follow up or reason for the extra charges. "Wow, what an incredible slice of heaven. Feels like you’re a million miles away from civilization. Waking up to the sounds of the birds in the morning, dinner with Gregory (host) and sitting on the porch in the evening were highlights of the stay.
