"Our family of 7 (grandparents, parents and 3 kids) absolutely loved our stay on the farm with Alex! Alex and his farm manager Carlos were so great - letting our kids feed the animals, gather eggs and doing a sugarcane processing demo for our whole family. We had a blast exploring the farm and swimming in the river, and the meals prepared by one of Alex’s neighbors were incredible!! If you love nature, exploring the outdoors, and don’t mind having the dogs and cats visit your patio or the bats sleep on your casita walls - this is the place for you!!! We stayed in three different places while exploring Costa Rica and this is my kids’ unanimous fave! "

"We consider ourselves fortunate to have the privilege of staying at this spectacular architecture designed home. The property has a master bedroom with attached ensuite as well as 2 additional bedrooms and an additional washroom. We appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked with “extras” such as paper towels, napkins, salt, pepper, other spices, sugar and coffee. We were met at the gate and given a tour of the house at check-in. The grounds are large and very private. Attached to the kitchen is a huge outdoor living area with seating and eating areas. I want to mention the high quality linens - both bedding and towels. The house and outdoor living areas were spotless. Something we appreciate was the quality of the roads leading to the house (if you have driven off the main roads in Costa Rica, you know what I am talking about). Any questions we had were answered promptly. The property is managed by the owner and pride of ownership shows through out the whole property! We would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity ever arose. "

Stuart gave a wonderful tour of the integrated farm, and Alex was a lovely host sharing eggs, coffee, coconut, and laughs with us.
