"The property is in a lovely holiday park and the surrounding area is great. The property itself is comfortable and fairly well equipped. The problem is that small changes could make it better. The tv is shocking, needs a new cable. I did contact the owner who said he would look in to it but this never happened. One of the mattresses in the twin room needs changing desperately, it completely sags in the middle and is not comfortable. There is also an electricity meter you have to feed £1 coins in...

"This is a quirky old cottage situated in a beautiful and quiet part of Deal, very close to the beach and cycling/walking opportunities. We enjoyed many walks, cycle rides and swims as a result. We enjoyed our stay and were not too fazed by the steep stairs and low ceilings as we were expecting them. "The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had."

"What a fantastic house for a group of friends looking for a relaxing break away. The house was beautiful and equipped with everything you could need. The garden was magical and the pool was an amazing addition to our stay. The hosts were very attentive and available at anytime if you had any questions. "Small in size but big in style. We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Sweet Shop. It is beautifully and quirkily decorated, making the most of its small size. It had everything we needed, including picnic chairs for the beach which is directly across the road, and retro sweet shop sweets for the kids. It’s the perfect location for exploring Deal. We loved opening the window to see the sun sparkling on the sea every morning. The only thing that would stop us going again is our kids getting too...

"We had a lovely stay in this cottage. We had easy access to Faversham and Sittingbourne and there were many footpaths available for walks with our dogs. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and all the rooms were tastefully furnished. Everywhere was so clean and tidy. We would thoroughly recommend it. "
