"Such an atmospheric property, filled with echoes of its colourful past. This is not a hotel-like palace but rather a grande-dame of a chateau with all the attendant wrinkles and wear that actually feels like it's been lived in by real families for centuries. "We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house! Annie and François were so kind and friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, and the garden was amazing. Some of my children finally learned to swim confidently in the lovely saltwater pool. We visited the château at Saumur and the old town square, and enjoyed every moment of our holiday. We hope to stay here again another year!"

"My partner and I stayed overnight at this location during a bicycle tour through the Loire Valley. This property was very memorable. Our room had a hot tub which was a huge asset at the end of our day. The host was very accommodating, she even cooked us dinner. The food and wine offered on site were great, and the local wildlife (Leon the peacock) was a great source of entertainment at breakfast. I would definitely recommend this property, and I hope to someday go back."
