"The cottage was absolutely comfortable and beautiful, one of a kind! Very clean, well stocked, amazing sheets and blankets (high end hotel feel); we enjoyed our stay here very much. The property is gorgeous and teeming with wildlife. We saw deer, fox, bunnies, and so many different types of birds right from the cottage and during our walks on the trails. We would definitely stay again, and would highly recommend it to others!"

"This house was perfect for my family and I. The layout and decor were so thoughtfully put together. We loved the amount of necessities provided (dishes, cooking supplies, etc). We had a small issue during our stay and the host was quick to respond. We will definitely stay here again if we revisit the area!"

"Beautiful area. Cottage was very clean but upon arrival the cottage was extremely cold and took hours to warm up with the electric baseboard heating. There were no blind/curtains in one bedroom so it was very bright, early in the morning. We would return again but probably during a warmer time of year."

"Our family of 9, grandparents, 3 parents and 4 kids ages 4-10 had a blast at this property! There was plenty of room for all of us! Nadine was very responsive to messages, even able to accomodate a date change for us! She reached out well before check in to let us know about check in process and a little blip in Wi-Fi which was quickly rectified. The kids had fun jumping in the lake (clear water beautiful lily pads) in the paddle boat and trying kayaking. We had lots of nights around the fire...

"Celebrated my birthday in this chalet and I couldn’t ask for a better place! There is (more than) enough space for me and my friends. Staying by the lake was very relaxing, we spent a lot of time in the hot tub just chilling. I appreciate that the kitchen is complete with things that we needed for our dinner. Everything is magnificent. Definitely recommend this place!"

"The house is beautiful, very clean and well provisioned. We very much enjoyed our stay. The only downside was that there are about 40 stairs from the parking area to the front door, which was a bit tricky for my bad back and my daughter’s sore hip. So you should be in decent physical health for that. Otherwise it was a fabulous getaway, very relaxing."

"We had a pleasant stay with our family at this cottage with a group of 10 people. The kitchen is well equipped with blenders, espresso makers, etc. The canoe had holes in it and was dangerous to use but we enjoyed all of the other water activity amenities like kayaks and paddle boards. The lake is clean, small, and very quiet. The view is fantastic from the window/dock. We hosted a wedding at this cottage; the outside area (like the deck) had lots of leaves and spider webs all over the place so...

"Convenient location 10 minutes from the center of Ottawa. Very clean and cozy house. Comfortable bedrooms. There is everything you need for living. We are very happy with our vacation! Thank you very much!"

"Lovely spacious apartment. The Photos don't do it justice. Its really big and lots of storage. Location is perfect by the Canadian History Museum and a quick walk across the Alexandra bridge takes you in to all the main sites in Ottawa Only slight downside is the air conditioning units are really really loud so you can't have them on at night and its really warm in the bedroom. But this might only be a problem for a short time in the year !"

"This is a great place to stay with large, apartment style, rooms in a great location right in the Byward market. Easy access to everything including a 10 minute walk to the parliament buildings. "

"Checking out was an ordeal. Got locked out and was told it was fixed and it wasn’t. Took me around 45 minutes to get problem with lock resolved. Other than that it was good. "
