"Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Room attendants are very good. Buffet breakfast is out of this world with huge variety to choose from. Hotel is a bit dated but well kept and maintained as Shangrila should!"

"On the third day of the stay, a water main bursted on the second floor and flooded lower floors, which put all elevators out of commission. There was no communication from the hotel and I speculated that the elevators were all out of service as the buttons were not responsive. Walking down wasn’t too bad and I found out about the flooding as I descended onto the second floor where water was ankle deep thereafter. "
