Founded in 2005, "Le Cabaret Vert" has become an essential stop on the tour of summer festivals. For four days, at the end of August, the old district of Mézières becomes the center of all attention, a real crossroads where sustainable development, international artists and local gastronomy mix. In 2018: 94,000 festival-goers from all over Europe came to flourish the peaceful streets of the medieval city.

The construction of the fortified castle by Prince Evrard de La Marck started during / at the end of the Hundred Years War. On the border of France and the Holy Roman Empire and on the banks of the Meuse, Evrard intends to make it a protective stop on the copper route. This modest triangular castle is enlarged and reinforced by the descendants of Evrard: eight princes and a princess make it the largest castle in Europe with its 35000m². It is this fortress which ensures and guarantees the independence of Sedan during the long years of the wars of religion. Having passed through the conflicts of the 20th century without damage, it now offers visitors a striking repertoire of military architecture.

Overlooking the plain of the same name, the Mont Olympe park is accessible by the Vieux Moulin footbridge, behind the Vieux Moulin or Rimbaud Museum.
