After visiting Bhaktapur, we took a bus up to see the ancient Hindu Vishnu temple Changu Narayan before it closed. It is considered to be the oldest temple in Nepal with pieces dating back to 325 A.D.

We were lucky because it had just been storming hours before but we managed to see this sunset. This overlooks the Changu village.

Warning: there seems to be a "tourist price" for these buses. We found out where everyone is charged 15-20 RPS we were charged 50. They do this because you can't understand any better. The difference in US dollars is only cents haha but still, I hate that feeling of being ripped off =S

"Close to airport, very clean and great service from all the staff. Loved how spacious our room and bathroom was. If you stay here, there is no need to go outside for food, they have variety of choices. We had their thali, momo and breakfast, they were all so delicious. "We had a wonderful stay! The property was very clean, and all the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety of food each morning. Everyone was amazing, but we especially want to highlight Pervaiz, who served us at breakfast—he was exceptionally attentive and made our mornings even better. Highly recommend this place! とても快適に過ごせました！施設は清潔で、スタッフの皆さんもとても親切でした。朝食付きで、毎朝いろいろな種類の料理が楽しめました。スタッフ全員素晴らしかったですが、特に朝食を担当してくれたPervaizさんがとても親切で、朝の時間がより特別なものになりました。本当におすすめの宿泊先です！"

Very nice hotel with a great breakfast selection

"Really nice stay at the Hyatt. The grounds are very well maintained and the Suite access was a definite plus. Only area of improvement is communication of the staff. We requested an early breakfast as we were leaving before 6am for a flight, which was confirmed multiple times by the staff. Unfortunately it was not communicated to the morning team so no breakfast was organised for us when we checked out. A small but frustrating issue. Would stay again though!"

"The Ramada is a wonderful hotel! My entire extended family spent more than a week there when we were in Kathmandu for a wedding. The suites are spacious and comfortable, the restaurants are great, and the staff is incredibly solicitous. The only drawback is that the Ring Road is currently under construction in the area, which makes navigating by car and on foot slightly difficult but hardly impossible. The staff was always ready to call us a cab, and we managed to walk to a number of places in the area without difficulty. A very enjoyable stay!"

"This is a WONDERFUL hotel. The staff is so kind, helpful and attentive. It is very clean There is not a lot in the area BUT the restaurants are delicious. There is a rooftop restaurant that is really good and has nice views for Nepal. The bathrooms could be improved because they flood when you shower and become a fall hazard but other than that 5 stars! "
