"Although a little difficult to find, this is a beautiful and peaceful house. The pool is large and worked really well for us, we were 4 adults and 4 children aged between 4-9. Plenty of garden space for the kids to run around and a lovely BBQ area. A couple of disappointments, firstly I must point out that some of the pictures online are not that accurate or at least for us. "We had a great stay at the villa this August. The villa is very clean and has all the amenities that you could require. Our children loved the pool which was heated and undercover so we did not have to worry about them getting sunburnt. Plenty to do in the surrounding areas. A highlight was the ability to order bread and pastries each morning to be delivered to the villa. Although there was a slight language barrier with the hosts, they were always quick to reply to us and were very nice helpful...

"We can’t rate the property highly enough - spacious open plan living, comfortable bedrooms, hot water, and lots of outside space. Karine and Olivier were attentive, friendly hosts, patient with our terrible language skills and made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The village was an easy five minute walk, even with reluctant toddlers, with a fantastic bakery, restaurants and a beautiful paddling spot. So many great day trips possible from this location. "I had a wonderful stay at Sophie & Craig’s gîte. The thing that made it was the warm welcome from Sophie & Craig. It was January and so, cold, but Sophie would bring me a wheelbarrow full of logs for the wood-burning stove every morning! My dog, Jack, played happily in the garden and it was perfect for him, with lots of walks. All in all, a great stay!"

"Het huis was geweldig en de eigenaren zeer vriendelijk . Voor ons was dit gedeelte van de Dordogne te vlak. we houden van motorrijden en in dit gedeelte miste we de bergen en ook de mooie wandelroutes. Ook was het te warm om dit alles te ondernemen, misschien hadden we meer ondernomen als het wat kouder was. Maar de vrijheid van de accommodatie was geweldig. "Communication difficile avec les propriétaires (même en Anglais) literie très confortable, chauffage un peu limite vu la taille des pièces, pas de baby foot, très beau parc, accès restaurant limité à 2 soirs par semaine, non précisé sur offre, fuite sur la machine à laver, pas d'aspirateur, il a fallu demander un balai. Location convenable sûrement encore plus agréable en été. Très bien pour l'espace pour les enfants."
