"The room was clean and the staff was helpful but the room was terribly basic and needs some work. If you just need a space to sleep with no frills, it's fine. "
"Great place to visit, authentically restored castle ran by the descendants of the same family. Owner Francesco and his wife are very friendly, generous and very kind hosts. Even though the castle isn’t in the main traveler’s route, it is most definitely worth taking a detour to stay here!"
"Struttura d' epoca, antico casale ristrutturato in un contesto elegante e gradevole, con ampio giardino.Le camere spaziose e i letti comodi, qualche critica al bagno, con doccia che perde acqua dal box e cornetta che non si riesce a regolare nel fissaggio.Colazione all' italiana da 4 stelle"
"Ci è piaciuta la simpatia e l'entusiasmo di tutta la famiglia e la visita al vigneto, alla cantina e.la degustazione dei vini e fei prodotti tipici è stata una bellissima esperienza.
Torneremo sicuramente e consiglieremo la cantina d'Erasmo ai nostri amici

"We had a great stay! We were so impressed with the kindness and helpfulness of the staff- we struggled to find parking, Luis personally found us and helped us park and carry our bags- he was exceptional! The hotel was clean and beautiful with easy access to the local squares. "
"Unique and wonderful!
We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail.
The room was comfortable and cool, the linens were excellent quality, our sleep was refreshing, and breakfast healthy and satisfying. They feature delicious bottled juices. Francesco gave us a tour of the fascinating historical interior rooms including the winemaking room with the grape stomping vats! I highly recommend Castle di Luco, we will treasure our stay here forever!

10/10 Excellent
"We all enjoyed Villa Carlo. It was spacious and comfortable. There was excellent air conditioning, very important for the very warm June weather. We all loved the pool. There were beautiful views from every window. The whole region was gorgeous. The highlight for the whole group was Massimo's cuisine. He produced wonderful meals and was very responsive to our dietary requirements (several vegetarians). It was a fantastic experience."
