"We stayed 10 nights at LUX Grand Gaube. We had a great time and would definitely recommend. Pros: - Two beaches and swimming pools - was nice to have a change of scenery at times. One is adults only, good if you want a quieter time. - Room was large and comfortable, massive modern bathroom with a big shower and two sinks. - Free water sports at the hotel - we did kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and snorkelling. Water skiing also offered but quite weather dependent so was available on only a handful of days for us. - Tennis and padel courts free to book. Padel rackets provided but have to pay for balls (pretty cheap and you keep them). - Food at the restaurants was excellent. Our favourite was Bodrum Blue (Greek/Turkish) and Beach Rouge (Mediterranean). Creole and BBs not as good in our opinion. - We did two excursions during our stay - a trip to Casela (nature park) and a speed boat tour of the east coat islands (ending at Ile aux Cerfs). Organised through Hello Islands (I think connected to the airport transfer booked through Expedia) - a rep contacted us on our first night and met us the following morning. Was very helpful in recommending what to do and when. Both trips were amazing, highly recommend. - Whole resort was clean and well maintained - Staff very polite and friendly. Reception very helpful with any questions or issues. Cons: - Slow bar service at the main bar - Slimy underfoot in the sea in many areas "

"We had mobility scooters and this hotel was easy and very accommodating for guests needing help or additional needs. The hotel might improve food services as there did not seem to be alternate choices in close vicinity although for our short stay it was adequate and the happy hour and breakfast met our needs."

"We had a lovely time. Staff was polite, always smiling and welcoming. The rooms were clean, beautiful decorated and comfortable. The location was perfect. Service was consistently excellent with outstanding hospitality. Staff could not do enough and was hard working. Will definitely come back. "

"Wonderful stay at C Mauritius. The service at this hotel is unmatched. Definitely the best I’ve received at any hotel. Every single staff member goes out of their way to provide excellent service with a smile and warm greeting. The food was excellent and varied every day from breakfast to dinner. Fantastic vegetarian options . Great fruit selection at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Clean rooms. Beautiful grounds and a beautiful beach. Pedaloe, paddle boarding and kayaking included. The only improvement I could suggest is having at least one freshly squeezed fruit drink option included in all in inclusive or at least at one meal for guests who do not drink alcohol. Special mention to the below staff members who helped make the stay so lovely but there were definitely more but I didn’t get their names ! Thank you! - Queen gave us a fantastic welcome and was helpful throughout stay - Anastasia who always remembered my name - John, driver for south tour - Abhilesh who insisted on getting a special drink made for us as we didn’t drink alcohol - Sunil who was always so kind at dinner - Danny and deeya at the tours desk - Sharah from housekeeping was lovely - Phoebe was always so helpful - Raj was a true gentleman when taking care of our bags "

"Exceptional all-adults boutique hotel located perfectly on the quiet, relaxing East coast of beautiful Mauritius island. I had the pleasure of enjoying 5 nights in the “Best on Beach” room category complete with outdoor terrace with sun bed and a separate balcony overlooking the majestic Indian Ocean. As a vegan, the chefs and culinary team curated delicious vegan meals that far exceeded my expectations. Every meal was flavorful, unique, healthy, and prepared with fresh, quality locally sourced ingredients. There is a garden on-site where many of the ingredients come from to create the amazing meals. The staff here is simply wonderful. Shout out to Disha, Vinesh, Rajiv, Devin, Naresh, Shib, Navin, Mayur, Rajritik, Hanshi, Krishna, Raju, Kenny, Sarah, and Isabelle. Their genuine warmth, hospitality, and kindness made my solo getaway a very special and memorable experience to cherish for a lifetime. Highly recommend the beautiful SALT of Palmar all-adults boutique hotel. "

"Everything about this hotel was on point. The facilities, service, food, kids club. JD the wellness staff member was exceptional and deserves recognition. Because of him we knew all about the hotel, facilities and ability to use the wellness centre at the spa free of charge. Without him we would not have known this. Kids club had kids eat free which was another lovely bonus. Well done Lux a great family holiday had for all the family :-)"

"From being welcomed at the hotel to the final check out the staff were so friendly and went that little bit extra to make sure our stay was an amazing one. The choice of food and drinks were great and we were able to book the speciality restaurants with ease. Pools were great along with the choice of water sports that were included. We would like to say a big thank you to Angele who did a great job in looking after us in the Nirvana part of the hotel and Sheila who kept our room spotlessly clean. Also Klea who made sure we always had a drink in Latitude and Owen who worked at the bar there and also in Jade with his drink recommendations. Bayo also made sure we had food and drinks around the main pool. So a big thank you to these and all others that made our stay as special as it was. Hoping to return in the future. "
