"We had a group of 8 friends and family staying here for the weekend! The house was clean and modern/updated and smelled nice! Communication and check in process was seamless as the owner provides a guide for staying at the home. The pool was very nice and has one side that is at least 7-8 feet deep. Couches and beds were all comfortable and access to towels and cooking utensils helps us make a great dinner at our stay. Also nice, located in a good neighborhood downtown Wausau so you can get anywhere fast! I don’t usually write reviews but really appreciated the quick and friendly communication with the owner and quick action when one of our friends left their Apple Watch when we checked out and it was quickly found and safely shipped home! 5 Stars!"

"Beautiful log cabin with a private lake. Communication with the host was seamless. They sent us a detailed message which helped with the check-in process and our stay. The kayaks on-site were convenient. The cabin itself is spacious and there was also a ping-pong table in the basement. It's not as much in the wilderness since it's just off the road, but it's still a gorgeous property with 40 acres of private land and walking trails. Would definitely book again, but for a longer stay next time"
