"Pros: We were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment in the same block. The apartment is very spacious with an attractive terrace and fabulous view of Pico island. It is very tastefully furnished with antiques which have been lovingly restored. Dora was very kind and communication with her was excellent. She left us a lovely welcome hamper of local food. Highly recommended property. Cons: Only the weather!"

"This is a great place to stay if you’re looking to be close to the ferry port. It’s about a 15 minute walk downtown, which is great to enjoy the awesome restaurants Horta has to offer. Unfortunately, the loft does get hot as the AC does not travel well up into the sleeping quarters. Clean and comfortable."
