"The property was in a great location near to beach, bars, cafes, supermarket and opposite the bus station so it was great for getting around the Algarve. The bathroom and shower were very good. Unfortunately, the apartment was rather dark and some of the equipment (ie. oven, hob and iron) could do with replacement. "The staff was wonderful, as was the restaurant food and the facilities. Of all the locations at which my wife and I stayed during three weeks in Europe, the Dom Jose was the cleanest and most comfortable. Rui, who worked the front desk, was great, as were all of the staff. The only complaint was that there was no on-site parking, which meant paid parking near the beach or parking a distance from the hotel. Otherwise, we'd visit again."
