"From start to finish this holiday was fantastic. We were met by the owner on arrival, despite not arriving until after 9:00 pm. The house was exceptionally well stocked with everything you might need for this to be a home from home. We were 3 couples and had plenty of space for relaxing in the evening after touring about the island during the day. Plenty to see and do locally, a car is really essential. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"This a good wee cottage on South Uist, completely free of hustle and bustle and street lights. All amenities apart from shops were closed due to you know what! The view from the lounge is as good as you'll get, looking over to Barra. South UIst has big skies and big seas and a great viewpoint is a parking space just before you go down to the ferry for Barra on Eriskay. We saw Golden Eagles at that spot. If you like beaches you will be spoiled for choice ( buy or borrow an OS map to find them) or...
