"This was a lovely old charming house in a great location—lots of space and a nice garden. One of the bedrooms and bathrooms is located on the basement/garden level and has some sewage-like odor, so sleeping in that space did not work out for us. The house was otherwise very convenient but hot since no AC was available. Unfortunately, construction in the neighborhood was happening from 7 am to 6 pm on both sides of the house, and the noise levels (73bD) were stressful. Communication was ok;...

"Our main criteria when booking for 4 couples was 4 en-suite double rooms. This house offered so much more. The location was excellent for getting around. It is only one stop from Trinidade station, which is a main transfer hub and has lines to and from the airport. Trinidad’s is walkable in about 7 minutes. The house had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend and we liked the sheltered outdoor area, where we ate breakfast. The bathrooms were all good with decent showers too. Keypad entry...

"Bel appartement, très bien situé, mais très dur à trouver!! Bon point de départ pour visiter, manger et sortir à Porto. Des produits de base auraient été appréciés par exemple : sel, poivre huile, capsules pour le lave-vaisselle ou sinon, des serviettes pour l'essuyer. Quelques taches sur les oreillers et les draps de lit sont usés. Avec ces quelques améliorations, cet endroit serait parfait!"

"This place in Gaia is great because we love to walk everywhere. We are a family of 5 with older teens. It is very close to the cables car entrance, which is great at sunset, and close to wonderful restaurants. Douro-Velho was so good that we went there twice for dinner in the short 3 nights that we stayed in Gaia. We are already planning our next trip to Portugal because we really needed more time. And we can’t wait to see it again soon. This is a great place to visit and spend a least a week."

"We had a great time. The apartment was in a perfect location, close to everything. The terrace was lovely. We always turned left coming out of the apartment, to go to the historic center - and discovered a beautiful supermarket, just to the right of the apartment, about a block away!"

"There's much to like about The Yellow House, with one major exception. The bed is quite comfortable, and while smallish, the quarters are comfortable as well. Wifi worked very well, and the patio is a huge plus, for relaxing in the sun (I smoke the occasional cigar, so it was very welcome. It's also very quiet except for the occasional- as in not very often- barking of the two dogs next door. They're pretty cool pooches, so it was not a problem. "the house was perfect for 6 ladies travelling for a 60th birthday. The house has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms which was really spacious for us all. There is an outdoor terrance that gets afternoon sun which was a perfect setting for a drink in the evening. The house is around a mile from the centre of Porto, which was perfect for us to get breakfast on our walk into Porto, Taxis are easy to get for those who don't like to walk. We would choose this house again if there was a group of us visiting...

Our unit was great with everything you need even if you stay longer. You need a car to get around. However there are restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance."

"Driving in Porto is crazy, leave it to the pros and Uber Drivers. We were able to leave the rental parked safely for 3 days and enjoy the town Francisco was much better than me with the communications. I did pick up a Portugal eSIM which was cheap but my home SIM was shut down in the process. I should have met up with him on WhatsAp and it would have made things smoother on my end. The property is an easy walk right down to the water. You can meander easily down and then just hop a Uber back...
