"My husband and I spent five nights of our honeymoon at this amazing property and it greatly exceeded our expectations. The home is so charming and the location can’t be beat. It’s close to several small villages and only 30 minutes from Calvi. We really enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub and the views from the deck, as well as falling asleep to the sounds of the stream. We really appreciated the bounty they shared from the fruit and vegetable garden on the property. The view from the shared pool was amazing, and the patios were great for relaxing after a long day of hiking. With a rental car, we found it easy to access multiple trailheads for hiking in Northern Corsica, from Losari to Vivario. We would definitely come back here!"

"This is a beautifully modernised and well appointed old house in a small village in the foot hills of the mountains in northern Corsica. Chantal the owner was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Small cafe and epicerie (limited stock) close by, where the atmosphere is very convivial (Chez Margot). Be prepared to negotiate narrow, winding roads and to take your time getting anywhere. Calvi, Ile Rousse and St Florent all just over an hour away; St Antonino and other pretty villages near at hand....

The bad points about the instructions and the gite were as follows: The map showing the location was inaccurate and we would never have looked into this industrial estate to find the countryside gite that we thought we had booked. The university town of Corte, ten minutes drive away, has a pleasant atmosphere, quite different to the holiday resorts on the coast. "Ein stilvolles, altes Haus mit einem tollen Ausblick aus den Bergen Richtung Meer, insgesamt sehr dreckig und kaum Einweisung (alles musste man suchen: Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Geschirr etc.). Sehr hellhörig, wenn sich im Schlafzimmer über dir jemand bewegt hat, warst du hellwach. Fazit: Lage und Ausblick entschädigen für Vieles! Ruhige Lage!"
