"I stayed here with my 2 teenage children and our dog. We loved the house and location. Only a short drive to gorgeous beaches when you turn right heading to roundstone and left towards ballyconneely. The house was really comfortable and well equipped. We all slept well in the calm and quiet of the beautiful surroundings. Wish we could have stayed longer! Thanks a million"

"We had a wonderful stay. The apartment offered enough space for our family of 4. The location is perfect! Less than a minute to Clifden’s village center. Our only issue was with the water pressure in the master shower, the shower stopped running when water was being used elsewhere in the apartment. We let the property management company know, so hopefully that will be fixed."

"Cottage is lovely and easy to find the local village is walkable and has everything you would want with shops and great restaurants (reasonable prices too) the only small thing we would suggest they improve is the lighting in the kitchen which is really insufficient if you want to cook in the evening."

"We absolutely loved the location of this property!! It is isolated, surrounded by the ocean inlets. Be prepared for the narrow roads and the one lane dirt road that brings you out on the island. It is not modern, but we were not looking for modern. We had everything we needed for our 6 day stay and enjoyed it immensely."

"We loved our stay. Frank and Geraldine Molloy were very lovely hosts. The cottage had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The only thing that was missing was the dryer. There was a washing machine, but not a dryer as listed. The location was perfect. We could visit Galway as well as Connemara Visitor center, and the Kylemore Abby. The cottage was right on the lake, so the morning views were breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who likes a peaceful retreat."

We had a family reunion and the house had everything we needed for big dinners on the shores of the lough or in inclimate weather, eating indoors.
