"We had a little snafu at check-in but the desk clerk corrected it for us. I think it was a combination of my error and their miscommunication, but as I said upon realizing the messup it was immediately fixed. Staff were great, friendly, helpful and accomodating. The place was scerene, and totally awesome! My only other problem was the beds were very firm making my sleep difficult. Overall we loved the hotel, the town, the history; it all made for a great trip. Not to mention the wedding at the granary was beautiful! "

"We had an amazing time here! The bar right down the road had amazing food and we enjoyed the hot tub. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and made sure the hot tub was good to go every day and even blew leafs off the front and back patio! "

"The home is comfortable and fully accessible. We felt well cared for and had all that we needed from our responsive host. We enjoyed the 5 bedrooms, space to gather, and great kitchen. The only outside issues are Mount Vernon's diminished air quality from industry and being close to an active train track. Neighborhood is safe and attractive. We would go back in a heartbeat."
