"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was pretty, overlooking a lovely garden. Only one problem, there was a leak in the en suite. Staff brilliant as was the food. Wd definitely come again. "

"Overall good stay, only real issue being unable to take the paid for breakfast, would be a good idea to ensure breakfast times are stipulated pre booking as have been changed to a later (8am) start. Host did provide a wrapped sausage sandwich and drink though. Room comfortable with all amenities to a very good standard . "

"The hotel is in convenient location for access to main routes to the attractions nearby. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was most enjoyable. Parking is easy. There is a large garden the owners take great pride in."

The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day. "Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...

"As a single traveller it's lovely to have a true single room that doesn't feel as if it's been squashed into the last piece of space available. Everything you might need has been thought of. Forgot your corkscrew? There's one there. A bit chilly? (doubtful because the house is lovely and warm). A hot water bottle is in your drawer. "Wow wow wow, we absolutely loved this little find, 'The Stable' is a beautiful place to stay, the surroundings are stunning, the accomodation is clean, beautifully furnished, excellently equipped and the host was lovely. The road leading up to the property is a bit of a bumpy one with a few potholes but the hosts prepare you for that in the well informed directions to the property. We will DEFINITELY be returning again next year, just perfect."
