"Close to Pacific Fair, close to tram into Surfers, close to Oasis and eateries around the area as well as inside the property as well. It was so nice to come back to The Star to once again enjoy all the amenities and how easy it was to get to places in the area."

"Staff made this a lovely stay. Just the right balance between luxury and informal. Location is great. Right on the beach but dining options are a little limited unless you’re willing to walk a bit. Rooms are great with nice decor and well appointed. Double glazed for efficiency and noise suppression too. "

"Great stay. The staff were so friendly and professional. Buffet breakfast was a disappointment but not important enough to rate you down. We were upgraded to a bigger room on arrival, which was fantastic and unexpected. Will definitely stay again"
