The village itself is very quiet with just a few facilities - bar, small food store, pharmacy - but only a 15min drive to the large town of Sulmona which has all you need and a great market on Wednesday and Saturdays. "A very nice property as described, with a large terrace, overlooked on most sides but with an unexpected view of the castle and swooping swifts making up for it. The host was very helpful throughout and kindly left us a generous welcome pack. I had no problem finding local street parking. Happy to recommend if touring the area by car. The train station and supermarket both less than 5-10 mins walk away."
