"The cabin is beautifully situated on a hill with stunning views on Loch Long. No other noise than the little streams, wind and birds. The cabin is dog friendly, comfortable, spacious, tastfully decorated and well equiped. The owners provided a warm welcome and came to meet us for a chat just before we left. "We are here visiting Scotland for our daughter’s graduation. We absolutely loved the house and location. The only thing I wish I had noticed was there is an extra charge for the BBQ and hot tub. Would highly recommend! Communicating with the owner was super easy and he was quick to respond."

"What a great find, 26 Harbour Street is just around the bay from the Plockton Hotel, so a good bar and restaurant was only 2 minutes walk away! The house was lovely, well furnished, a lovely Aga kept the house warm. All the bedrooms were well appointed and all 3 bathrooms were of a similar standard. We had our 2 dogs with us and the boot room was ideal for keeping them contained after walks. I was a little reluctant to write this review because I would rather keep this little gem to myself -...

"Super location (as long as you like a little solitude) with cracking views. Lovely clean, comfortable and well-equipped cottage that you looked forward to returning to after a busy day. Not a lot in the village amenity wise but the pub is nice and is doing takeaway food during the current restrictions, so at least you don`t have to cook if you really don`t want to. "We stayed at Stag Lodge for my 50th. Had a great time. I've stayed here several times before and will do again."

"Once again we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was warm (the new radiators are a great improvement and were a great boon in the very cold weather we experienced), comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly appreciated the porch which provided ample space for boots, wellies and shoes and which enabled us to keep the cold outside at bay."

"Had a really good stay here with the family. It was definitely a true Scottish experience having to use the woodburner to heat the lounge and great that the cottage was up together but traditional. It wasn’t overly modernised but not dated either. Would definitely return. Well positioned for many good walks."

"A lovely cottage in a beautiful, peaceful setting. The cottage had all we needed. Very comfortable beds. The location was perfect for us. Good walks around Loch Long. A short drive into Dornie and lots of other activities and walks. Nice pub and cafes in Dornie. Not far from the Skye Bridge. We did lots of exploring and had a great holiday."

"This delightful cottage made the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye, with it being just 20 minutes from the Skye Bridge. It is situated on the shores of Loch Long and very peaceful without being too isolated. The view from the kitchen and lounge over the loch to mountain beyond alone made this one of my most memorable trips."
