"We weren't able to get an accessible room thos time. In fact, we had to take a 2nd floor room and the elevator was broken. The outside door that was near the stairs wouldn't open and we needed to walk back around the building to get in. My knees are very bad, my poor daughter had to make multiple trips. The bed upstairs was more comfortable than the one we had the week before downstairs."

Of course, you could stay in one of the well-known national chains a half mile down main street for twice the price (and I have) but it does not buy you much more than the ability to walk to Casa Ramos, Yreka's best Mexican restaurant.
