"If you want to get away from it all this is a great place. The outside cooking area was especially good where we cooked on a wood fire every night plus there was a wood fired oven for pizzas etc. Good location for walking. Beautiful location amid the olive groves."

"Veronica’s property is in an idyllic location in an olive grove high up in the hills above Fornalutx and Biniaritx in the Soller valley. Both villages are a 40ish minute walk away, have good restaurants and the former a great wee shop as well. The valley has terrific walking, with much of it well signposted. The property and garden are both fitted out to a high standard with all the features you would expect. Views are amazing and the pool is lovely (though a bit chilly in April!)...

"Had a fantastic week. The location is peaceful as suggested in the title. The pool is fantastic. Horses chilling in the adjacent field. Just lovely. Decor is charming and authentic rather than modern. It has a homely feel. We slept well!!! Close to town for shopping. 10 minutes from the beach. Andres is a charming host. Quick to reply to any queries."

"We loved Sa Pobla. The pool is huge and we had to tear the children away to go to the beach. The photos don't do it justice - it's very spacious both inside and out and was incredibly clean. It could do with a little more cooking equipment but we did end up using the BBQ - which was in itself a huge gas BBQ which we loved. The kids also loved the remote controlled gate and of course the geese and donkey! Very easy to access most parts of the island from here. Thanks for a great stay!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. The mountain location was so beautiful you didn’t want to leave it even to explore a nearby beach. The drive up and down is a challenging 25 mins with very steep and blind zigzags so we didn’t attempt to do it in the dark. However, we found the lovely village of Fornalutx by hiking 50mins each way which we did for eating out in the evenings. The restaurants are very good there. "We stayed for 7 nights and had a fantastic time. The Villa is very well equipped with everything you could need. Very spacious inside and out, good sized pool, plenty to do including a pool table and table tennis. It’s location is very good to explore the Island and we enjoyed going in to Inca 2-3 times to eat. "We had a really lovely week at Els Casals. The villa is gorgeous, full of character, in the most beautiful setting overlooking a valley and mountains. We enjoyed the pool which had some nice shade from an olive tree. The sheep were lovely to hear baa-ing with their clangy bells. So sweet. We loved the town of Pollenca, the port and the beach at Formentor. Xavier was a good host, very welcoming and helpful. We heartily recommend staying here."

"This is a very nice mountain cottage with excellent terrace (and wi-fi!). Charming situation with walks to local villages. The 25 minute drive up from Biniaraix is longer and more difficult than expected, with some difficult turns and ending on an unpaved forest track. We ended up avoiding doing it as much as possible - although the walk up on the path from Fornalutx takes about 45 minutes and involves climbing 350m! I’d recommend bringing all your food and drink for your stay and relaxing...
