"Each year our family takes a trip to the woods as soon as school lets out. This year we traveled 5 hours to Lakin' it Easy and it was worth every minute. What a way to disconnect and just enjoy eachother. Check in and check out was a breeze and the property manager was a dream. One thing I might have missed in the description or reviews, but cell phone reception is spotty at best. It was a bonus for us but some may need to know ahead of time. Also we had severe thunderstorms our last day (which was gorgeous) but it did knock out the internet for our last evening there. Other than a dollar store you are a notable distance away from things so make sure you pack everything you need. I would absolutely recommend this property if you are looking to spend some uninterrupted time with family and friends."

"Thank you very much for the wonderful accommodations for my father in laws memorial. It was the perfect spot for our family to come together and reminisce with plenty of space for the kids to play after the service, and the views were amazing! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked, and I was beyond excited to find REAL toilet paper for us! Thank you again, and we will most definitely stay here again when we return to Somerset/Burnside!"

"If you are looking for a place to get away from the city noises and traffic, this is the place to stay. Sitting around the firepit listening to the sounds of The whipperwill bird singing his song to to waki g up early morning watching the red-eye vireo catching bugs to feed her babies. The inside of the cabin is just beautiful. The main bedroom has a bathroom with a walk in shower, along with a doorway leading to the hot tub. The second bedroom has a door to the hall bathroom and a 3rd bedroom accessible through the second bedroom. This setup was perfect for our stay. And there are rolling barn doors for bathroom and in the main bedroom. Just awesome. I could go on and on with nothing but praise about this property. The owners are great. Responded quickly to our questions. We would definitely book this property again."
