"Great location, walkable distance to Belmullet. We had a really lovely meal in the restaurant - staff were lovely. The room had a great view but was let down by a few things: the toilet didn’t flush, the light above the sink didn’t work and I wasn’t able to remove the rubber plug to release the bath water. Also, the fire alarm went off briefly during the night. Not major issues but spoiled what could have been a great stay. Also, when reported to the receptionist when checking out, she didn’t appear too concerned. "

The house was very spacious and very well equipped for our family of 7, we really enjoyed our stay and Donna was very helpful from initial booking to arriving in Louisburgh . "This peaceful cottage is in a great location if you want to get away from it all. Finding it may have been easier if the instructions were in English rather than German. Easy access to Westport and Newport if you need to shop. The cottage itself was not the warmest place we have ever stayed and could do with a little tlc but generally comfortable . The inspiring views of Croagh Patrick were largely blocked by an overgrown hedge. However we enjoyed our stay very much."
