Good location but below average cleanliness
We like to travel light, so we like to find a place with a washer and dryer to do a bit of laundry. That is the main reason along with the good location for walking to the tourist spots that we booked this property. Jeff was prompt at responding to our Whatsapp messages and I believe he wants to make it a good place to stay.There were very good entry instructions provided. He sent us a big list of restaurant recommendations which is appreciated.When we arrived there was a bit of a funky smell, perhaps from smoking or neighbors? The laundry room had piles of shoes and a big bag of undone laundry. The washing machine dryer combo did work fine for our needs. There was old stale food in the kitchen cabinets, and one of the cabinets had a very old garlic clove that was turning into liquid. Don't open that cabinet! The bath towels that were provided were small and rough and had a bit of the funky smell. The comode room had a tiny piece of used soap for washing your hands.We had to buy more toilet paper and paper towels. Also bought coffee pods for the Nespresso. Providing small things like that go a long way.This place could be made into a nice rental with a small investment and better thought in cleaning it up before lodgers arrive.
