"The house is situated in a vineyard with fig trees growing around the house. It is a 25 minute walk up the mountain road to the medieval village of Erice. Trapani is the main town and is about 15 minutes by car down the mountain. The mountain road (SP3) is steep with hairpin bends, so it is best to hire a small car like most of the locals. "My wife and I stayed in this property for a week in May 2019. The location was rural, quiet and had spectacular views over the surrounding mountains. The property is surrounded by vineyards on three sides and an orchard and vegetable garden on the other, which we were allowed to help ourselves; never forget the fresh orange juice made from picking our own oranges. Andrea was the perfect host and brought us wine, olive oil, vegetables and fruit during our stay. If you want a break away from it...

"Just arrived today. Have not slept yet but it's amazing. Perfect for families that just want to relax and keep kids entertained so many facilities and the guy was nice enough to say when we check out we are free to stay around at the pool and just hang out as we want for as long as we want. Amazing!"

"The place is clean BUT, all the necessities that you needed is not provided, no soap, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, paper towel etc. Pool is close at 8pm, what the heck your on vacation and after a long day outside you want to relax on the pool but it is close. And one more thing no air conditioning, you have to pay 5euro/day. All of these should have provided with no extra cost. "

"The most beautiful hotel with amazing staff. I consider myself very lucky to have stayed here and will highly recommend Cala Marina to everyone. My stay started with car service arranged through the hotel which was perfect both coming and going. Every day staying there was a pleasure with the kindest front desk and dining staff too. The breakfast buffet was delicious! I absolutely loved the lemon flavored croissants paired with a cappuccino. Room was comfortable, spacious and so clean. Thank you to all who made my stay there so memorable. Gracie Mille. "
