This 3-bedroom house west of the town of Browning, is well located for full Glacier National Park (GNP) access. What is now known as Glacier National Park, the traditional homelands of the Blackfeet, offers breathtaking views and ready access to sky-high and low elevation hiking trails, sparkling lakes and high elevation alpine meadows, Going to the Sun highway, majestic waterfalls and wildlife.

Exceptionally located just miles from Glacier National Park, this spacious, clean and comfortable rental provides a centralized location “base camp” for your hiking and sightseeing trips into Glacier Park. Short drives to (3) park entrances makes this rental an efficient timesaver when heading out on any adventure!

Tour Glacier via breathtaking partial or all day trips on the “Going to the Sun” highway, canoe or access park tour boats and majestic scenery at upper Two Medicine and Many Glaciers Lakes, along with St. Mary Lake and Mountain, Flat Top, Gunsight Pass and Divide, Avalanche Lake, etc. The adventure possibilities are endless!

We can PROUDLY provide you with referrals for “keep it local” businesses from hiking guides to local cuisine talents who will provide for your needs both off and on the trail (if you are hikers) or car-friendly meals if you prefer to tour Glacier and the surrounding areas from a vehicle. Our “proud to refer” list also includes the few restaurants that hire local and support our isolated glacier-foothills community, small business entrepreneurs who will provide transportation to and from your hiking destinations…along with a few wilderness stories you will not hear anywhere else!

This family and group friendly home within the Amskapi Piikani Blackfeet Nation, is just 1/2 mile from the Northern Plains Indian Museum and 1/4 mile from the "Charging Home Stampede Park Rodeo Grounds", with summertime opportunities to join Rodeo fans from across the world witnessing some of the finest cowboys and cowgirls in the nation. On occasion, you will also have the opportunity to witness the rare beauty and exhilarating speeds of thoroughbred horses and unmatched skills of the riders in the sport of Indian Relay Racing (Google it!). Additionally, this home is located only 30 miles from the Canadian border, wherein you can tour majestic Waterton Lakes National Park and “Writing on Stone” Provincial Park, etc. also the traditional homelands of the four tribes of the Blackfoot Confederacy. Finally, stepping out the front door, you are just miles from seasonal grazing lands of protected herds of bison/buffalo.

Although you might not be spending much time inside, this spacious house boasts 3 queen beds and futon across 2 bedrooms, with 2 twin beds in the 3rd bedroom, along with sofa bed in living room, 2 bathrooms (bath and showers), and a large “great room” area with vaulted ceilings for guests to relax and unwind or convert into sleeping areas. The living room provides extra sleeping space with the option to roll out sleeping bags or reserve our cots, futons or queen-sized, 6” thick sleeping pads which can also be available!

The near-commercial kitchen and dining area boast large areas for food prep and dry storage, as well as a new commercial sized refrigerator and free standing freezer meeting all your needs. This newly remodeled home also features appreciated amenities such as WiFi, laundry, and an expansive master bedroom w private bathroom. We invite you to come and explore our homelands while enjoy everything this spacious house has to offer.
