While my experience at the park was great and I got to play with some pretty big lions I found out things about the park afterwards that makes me wish I'd never gone. Basically petting big cats signals their death. The lion parks use the older lions and sell them to the canned hunting industry. I was lied too at the park and do not recommend that anyone ever goes to a park where you can pet or walk with lions. Highly not recommended to visit Ukutula! Or any other lion park in Africa for that matter!

"I did not fulfill my stay at the accommodation. I drove from DBN as a single mum with 2 X 6 year olds. Arrived at 2:30pm. Room not available. 3:30 room was ready. The unit had an awful smell. No communication from staff. Toilet dirty. It was not livable. The Aircon did not work. Fridge and microwave was smelly. I booked another accommodation for the night in the area. "The stay was excellent, only the challenge was the TV that was not clear with stars. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The parking was secured and very safe too. Parking at the bottom where I'm enjoyed park there, due to the pillars the security was thereto assist with the parking and can you imagine that both male and female was helping to park. We're used to male doing that but it was amazing to see a lady helping directing me to park and other members too. It's my wish that the Hotel convey my thanks and appreciations to them all."
