"Everything was good , apart from the window lock/handle missing, so couldn't close window tight. Which meant it was a bit noisy during the night. "

"An old building in the centre of Ludlow with the town easily accessible on foot and, for car drivers, a car park available on a first come, first served basis although getting in and getting out requires skilful driving through the narrow opening that was far more comfortable for horses and carriage! The bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the dining room simply charming. The food was excellent crafted by a skilled chef and team and ably served by friendly and efficient staff. The memory of the stay will remain as a positive prompt to revisit in the near future."

"Welcoming and helpful staff. Lift was out of order during our stay however we did receive courtesy phone call to advise ore stay. Spa/pool lovely and relaxing. This was a ladies break, thoroughly enjoyed. "

"The hotel was fascinating with its history on display through pictures, art, antiques and the quirkiness of a centuries old building. We enjoyed Sunday roast dinner and the full breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with local advice. Our room was a mixture of antique decorations and a very modern bathroom filled with amenities. It was the perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside and our crazy experiences at the famous cheese roll. I highly recommend a stay!"
