Mountain Thunder Lodge is a beautiful wooded complex that is located in the heart of Breckenridge. This ski-in/gondola out development is situated within walking distance to the Breckenridge Gondola Station and Main Street Breckenridge.

LOCATION – Walk to town and ski to your door, you cannot beat this location in Breckenridge! Mountain Thunder Lodge sits off Park Ave. within walking distance to the Breckenridge Station Gondola and Main St. Just outside of the complex is the Skyway-Skiway Run that allows skiers to ski home at the end of the day (The gondola is closed May - Mid June). Complimentary resort shuttle is also available to take guests to the mountain or anywhere in town.

MOUNTAIN THUNDER RESORT AMENITIES – The elegant yet rustic grand lobby of Mountain Thunder Lodge features a beautifully decorated sitting area that with log accents, slate floors, plush furniture and a fireplace. It also features a fitness center, complimentary shuttle, conference/business space, common area outdoor pool & hot tub area with gas grills and a children's play area.

This is an ideal property for a skiing couple. The property is very clean, nicely furnished and a wonderful place to stay in all aspects. The garage parking, proximity to Main Street and mountain access are excellent.

We were so happy with the location and proximity to the gondolas and downtown. This was our first trip to Breckenridge so we didn’t know what to expect. We also love that we could use the amenities at One Ski Hill Place and enjoyed relaxing in the grand hall during breaks from skiing. We also enjoyed the indoor pool, spa, billiards and bowling. Would definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend this rental for a group of 1-2 adults. Stayed at this property with myself and my wife and it was perfect size. It is a great location next to town. Easy walk into town and to the gondola for Breck skiing. Ski lockers awesome and fit everything for my wife and I. Communication with the property owner and property management company were excellent. A few recommendations based on our stay: 1) know that the keys need to be picked up in the town over (Frisco) which is on the way from Denver, but wish they could be picked up on site2) for those using the gondola to ski, just a heads up there is a tunnel that goes under the main road vs going up to the light and using the crosswalk. When you walk out of the property there is a small sign that says “tunnel to gondola”3) a property map of thunder mountain lodge and amenities would be nice. We tried to use the QR code on the back of the door but it sent us to a dead link 4) for those skiing from Breck, following the 4 o’clock run to the gondola parking lot is very nice but there is a small sign that says “Thunder mountain lodge.” When we turned there it was a self made path and we were unsure if this was the appropriate place to turn or to keep going because it put us in the back of the property vs up near the front entrance. Again, I am veryyyy please with the property, location, communication. Would 100% stay here and recommend others to stay here as well.
