"We had a pleasant stay at the Hotel de France. The location is perfect as it is walking distance from the train station and in the city centre. You have plenty of bakeries and shops around the hotel. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We actually slept like babies as the bedding was so comfortable! "This hotel is so convenient from the TGV train and airport…we loved it! The only issue was that we were coordinating an Uber pickup and this hotel has no ground level entry…quick fix…take the stairs (to the left & outside the lobby) to an exterior walkway to the hotel across the way for your pickup! Hotel stored our luggage while we visited Lyon for the afternoon! Hotel was easy to navigate…wish I could say the same for the airport terminal signage! Fun/unique hotel, good restaurant and nice bar…clean and simple."
