This house, 5 km from Bor and close to Värnamo, offers beautiful nature and privacy. The cottage and the garden have an interesting and unique history as the Swedish artist Sten Dunérs has drawn inspiration from the place for his works. Drömmens as the place is called was once a well-known garden and several books have been published about this garden.

The cottage is for 6 people and upstairs there is 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and 1 large walk-through room with 2 single beds. Up here there is also a sink with running hot and cold water. Downstairs has a large family room and an old-fashioned kitchen. There is TV with a smaller selection of Swedish channels and a radio in the house. The cabin is heated with electricity and you have access to 2 fans if it gets hot. The bathroom with WC and shower is then in the annex. There is also 1 bedroom with a double bed and a family room.

In the very large garden, there are several seating areas such as a gazebo, pavilion and pergola. In addition, a leaf hut which is usually popular as it has such a nice view of the Småland landscape. On the grounds there is a sandbox, swing and a rock scree that children usually like to play in. For older children and adults there are blocks, croquet clubs and a grass badminton court. There is also a meadow here where night violets, maidenhair, midsummer flowers and old man mower grow. In addition to blueberries and raspberries, mushrooms such as chanterelles, funnel chanterelles, thorn mushrooms and Karl-Johan grow in the forest. Here you can also catch a glimpse of moose and deer.

To see and do in Värnamo and the surrounding area
The nearest store is in Bor 4 km. There are several bathing lakes around, the closest is Solgården 5.7 km by lake Hindsen then you have lake Furen both Hyltan and Smålands Hawaii. Also try Älgarydssjön in Älgaryd, which has quite warm bathing water. Rusarebo is a beautiful nature reserve by Lake Hindsen. Here there is rich flora and a number of orchids. At Rydaholms Värdshus you can have lunch and visit Småland's car music and toy museum. Högakull nature reserve outside Sjuhult is a fantastic excursion destination with a beautiful view of lake Rymmen and large flora. Ohsabanan in Ohs runs steam and ice cream trains in the summer. Värnamo is 17 km away. Here you can have lunch at Vandalorum, an art museum, and stroll around the center. Not far away is Store Mosse if you want to go hikingwhy not experience a day at High Chaparall with the children. Alvesta and Växjö are within reach if you want more shopping and restaurants. There are plenty of moose parks around Ljungby and the kingdom of glass is only an hour's drive away.
