4th of July stay with sisters
The kitchen floor was dirty. When I wiped up spilled water, the paper towel was black. Refrigerator was leaking water inside the refrig. and collecting in the vegetable drawer. This is the second year in a row that we stayed at Alpen Inn. The units were much improved from the prior year. Thank you.

Great getaway!
Having never been to the UP we decided a long stay would be good. The rental was comfortable and quiet plus spacious enough for us and two large dogs. The view off the back deck was very calming for morning coffee and evening drinks. We loved all the waterfalls in the area and the Porcupine Mountains. We found some favorite places to eat and drink in Ironwood. There was a benefit concert at the historic Ironwood theater one night with local musicians that was wonderful. We will come back and stay again.

2 days of skiing
This property is the perfect location for Ski in/Ski out at Powderhorn. It is very outdated but it didn’t matter for our group. 2 bedrooms in the lower level with walk out right to hot tub. The hot tub is small and old but the water was warm and glorious to soak out skiing muscles after a day of skiing. Bonuses of this property are the wood burning fireplace and we all loved the table top game system with all the old video games.

Fall Leaf Peeping
This was the perfect place to stay so we could take day trips to see the beautiful leaves and waterfalls. We had plenty of room to spread out in the evenings. Furniture not new but clean and comfortable.

Perfect for our short family getaway!
Perfect getaway for my spouse, father, and 2 grandchildren. The condo was clean and easy to enter later at night. Not modern decor but it was perfect for what we needed. We left feeling like we had been to grandma's up north cottage without any musty smells. There was plenty of sleeping room and area for the kids to move around, comfortable living room furniture. Also, the dishwasher and conveniences of home. I had my Aunt and Uncle over for dinner, plenty of room for us all. We would definitely return and also recommend to other family who travel that way!

Older Condo
Older, not updated condo with upstairs kitchen and no a/c on first floor bedrooms for summer stay. It is ski in/ski out during winter which is its attraction.

Great Location to Porcupine Mountains
The size of the condo was was perfect for our vacation needs. Very clean and comfy beds. All the essential supplies we needed were there with fresh linens too. Loved having the video game inside the unit as well (brought back great memories). The upside down layout is great for views of deer on the property. We would stay again so finish seeing all of the waterfalls in the area! Highly recommended!
