"This is a lovely old building with a lot of character. Parking was included in our room rate and when we visited, we had no issues with finding a car park within the hotel grounds. Our room was spacious, and gave us everything we needed. It was quiet and the bed was very comfy. It was a short easy walk into town. We ate both breakfast and dinner there daily. Both were at additional cost to our room rate, but we felt we got good value. The 45.00 GBP pp for a 3 course evening meal was excellent value for money given the quality of the food and staffing. Probably too much food if you have had a late lunch. The second day we ate lighter during the day so that we could enjoy our evening meal more. The breakfasts were very good. On site bar area and sitting rooms were very relaxing. The resident rabbits in the garden were cute (even though we know they are vermin). This was a lovely place - we were there for 2 nights as part of a month long UK driving holiday. I would stay at this Hotel again."

"We had an unforgettable stay at The Grange Country House. The rooms were spotless, beautifully maintained, and filled with charm. The location strikes the perfect balance—peaceful, yet within easy reach of Keswick town and the surrounding fells. A special mention must go to Michael and Adam, who were courteous, welcoming, and genuinely keen to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. From great local tips to thoughtful little touches, their attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. The breakfast was simply outstanding—fresh, delicious, and served with a smile. We felt truly cared for throughout our stay and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm and memorable Lake District escape."

"The most amazing anniversary stay. We stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in an amazing location with a lot of hikes nearby. The hotel room we stayed in had a hot tub in and it was lovely to relax. We attended the spa as well which was gorgeous!"

"What a lovely hotel! Situated close to the beautiful town of Grasmere, and on the edge of the lake which was so picturesque you could sit and watch the view for hours - we did this whilst sipping a drink on the outside seating area. The spa was a perfect way to relax after a day of walking. We got the bus to walk the Fairfield Horseshoe but there are so many other walks to choose from (the bus stops are a fee meters away in either durection). In relation to the hotel it was clean, the rooms were lovely (we upgraded from the standard one) and the beds were comfy. The hotel staff were friendly and very attentive. There waa a great breakfasf choice and extra options were available to be cooked outside if the hot and cold buffet range. We had an evening meal which was also delicious. The only issue we had was I thought I had booked a 60 min spa treatment but in fact I hadn't. My fault but feel like the website could be updated and the email confirmation provide clearer timings i.e., the length of treatment and not just the start time as I would have realised my mistake. Appreciate this is a me problem, not them, so don't let this stop you from booking... I definitely recommend this hotel and will return myself sometime soon. "
