This hotel is close to everything in the Ku'Damm
My res was cancelled before I got to Berlin but they had a room for me anyway. Room was not very clean. Decor worn out. Other rooms were lovely though. Lots of hiccups but I would stay there again. Great location.

Water issue
It was unfortunate that there is water issue in the building, so we could not use the shower and toilet inside the room. The hotel did its best to accommodate all guests using two courtesy shower rooms. However, i wish the hotel would notify the guests more than 12 hrs prior to check in, as a different hotel may be booked. The receptionists are very friendly, although don't speak much English. The room is big. The hotel is in a very nice neighborhood and is very close to train station.

- Gebuchtes Zimmer aufgrund von Wasserproblemen nicht verfügbar: Kategorie-Downgrade. - Aufgrund des Wasserproblems wurden zwei Zimmer im 1. OG zum "shared bathroom" inkl. Toilettennutzung: Für alle Gäste auf dieser Etage entsprechend permanente nächtliche Ruhestörung. - Ausgefallener Aufzug an einem Samstag, Servicetechniker war den Inhabern am Wochenende zu teuer. - Servicepersonal ohne Serviceorientierung: Nur eine positive Ausnahme bei den kennengelernten Personen. - Staub und Schmutz im gesamten Zimmer (Bettkanten, TV-Fernbedienung, Nachttische, Fenster usw.) - Schmutzige, fleckige Bettlaken - Schmutz + Schimmel im Bad

Gute Lage, aber schlechtes Zimmer
An sich kann man dieses Hotel nur empfehlen, denn es liegt sehr zentral (2 Gehminuten zum Kuhdamm) und die Anbindungen zu den Öffentlichen ist perfekt (S-Bahn-Haltestelle Savigniplatz in 3 Gehminuten zu erreichen/ U-Bahn-Haltestelle Uhlandstraße in 5 Gehminuten zu erreichen). Auch die Umgebung ist ansprechend: viele Restaurants, Cafès und Geschäfte in Laufweite. Allerdings habe ich wohl zum falschen Zeitpunkt gebucht (Aufenthalt über Silvester 2014/15). Vermutlich hatte ich zu spät (Mitte November 2014) gebucht, aber es war das einzige Hotel in dieser Lage, das einen guten Preis bot. Leider hat sich das in der Wahl der Zimmer niedergeschlagen. Wir hatten wirklich das schlimmste Zimmer, das es gab und waren total schockiert, als wir das gesehen hatten. Wir kamen uns vor wie zu Zeiten der Kaiserin Sissy: - Veraltetes Mobiliar - Einbauschränke, die man besser nicht öffnete (modriger und alter Geruch!) - angelaufene Spiegel - angeschrammte Ecken - Tapetenreste, die von der Decke hingen - Lichter, die nicht funktionierten - im Bad gesprungene Bodenfließen und ein verrostetes Regal Und die Farbgebung ließ ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig (blau-gelbe Wände, roter Teppichboden, schwarze Badfließen). Ich hoffe wirklich, dass dieses Zimmer bald renoviert wird!!! Sehr schade, dass zu diesem Zimmer keine Abbildung im Internet vorhanden war (denn die restlichen Bilder stimmten mit der Realität überein).

Gutes Hotel in der City
Hotel in einer Nebenstraße gelegnen im Altbau mit Stuck an der Decke. Hatten ein 3 Bett-Zimmer zur Straße, was durch das Kopfsteinpflaster etwas laut war. Betten waren mit Super Matratzen ausgestattet. Bad war modernisiert und groß mit Fenster. Das Frühstück war lecker und für jeden Geschmack war was dabei.
