"Had a lovely stay. The place was really cozy and was exactly what we needed. John was really helpful and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Only comment I would add is that there is no freezer in the property. As we were only there for a long weekend this wasn’t an issue but if we were staying for a week or longer that could have caused a few issues."

"Property was lovely, clean and in a beautiful location. Lovely farmhouse with plenty of games if you have children, lots to do and lovely walks in surrounding areas. "We had a really lovely stay at Cardwen Farm, it’s a super holiday home with everything you could need. Lots of space and the gardens are beautiful. The farm house is very well positioned to visit all the nearby attractions and the local butcher in Pelynt was first class. Siobhan was a super host always responding quickly to messages and helped us with lots of local knowledge. We would definitely have no problem recommending and would love to return again. "The comforting sound of trains running over Brunel's Tamar Bridge, a regular weekday bus into Plymouth, the gentle movement of the boats moored in the river and the turning of the tide make for an ideal stay. The stairs are a tad steep but are worth the effort. Bathroom is, downstairs and bedroom up. Lovely, local "hosts" and kind welcome "gifts" add a kind touch. "

The property is sold as a pool holiday (rare in the UK), but the pool was not usable in a safe manner, with loose tiling and sharp edges. "This property is ideal for visiting the north and south coast of Cornwall. We stayed for 10 nights , our only problem was drying clothes. The weather wasn't very good so trying to dry anything for 8 people was difficult. Tracy was easily contactable if we had any problems. Booking in was easy. Accommodation was great for 8."
