"This is a great place to get away from it all. It was really nice to have a place on the water and sit around a campfire in the evening. The house/cottage is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped. There aren't any stores or restaurants nearby, so stop at a grocery store in Ellsworth. There might be some firewood left by others, but it would be best to purchase some camp wood on the way. It is sold by seemingly everybody. Bar Harbor is an hour away by car. "

"Our family was visiting the area for a few days and were so pleased with our pick. It is the cleanest property we have ever stayed at. Not a speck of dirt or dust anywhere. Communication was great but the best is the deck overlooking the water and the amazing sunsets. Thank you!"

"We had a very nice stay at this secluded, peaceful home. It was the perfect set up for my spouse and I plus 2 adult kids who each brought along a friend. We spent a day in Acadia National park to see the sights and watch the sunset over Cadillac mountain. Other days we were content to stay in the home and play games, read a book, cook dinner in the kitchen or on the grill outside, go for a nature walk or just sit by the fire near the water. The hot tub was wonderful to go in especially since the evenings were chilly here in early June. Our favorite restaurant was Bunkers Seafood and Spirits only about a half hour away. Overall, we were very grateful for this vacation with family and friends. I will miss the daily view from the deck of the water!"

"If you're like us and like to vacation without staying in the central hub of tourists this is absolutely the place for you. This small cottage directly on the harbor is a perfect spot for anyone who wants a quiet place to relax at the end of the day with gorgeous a view and the unique opportunity to watch fishermen leaving for a days work (they're so quiet we almost missed seeing them leave!!)Pam is an excellent host and her cottage is well stocked with anything you'd need during your stay. Our dog absolutely loved the location with all the seagulls, geese and water to keep her entertained. "
