"We really enjoyed our stay here. Loved the back deck which is on a huge pond. You can fish off of the back of the deck while grilling or just hanging out. It is less than a ten minute drive to the kayak and boat launch. The launch is a large sloped gravel lot. We only launched kayaks, but if you are putting a boat in you might need 4-wheel drive if conditions are wet. The only thing I would change would be the bed. It is two twin beds pushed together with different sized mattresses, so there is a gap and a bump in the middle. It would be much more comfortable with just a queen frame and bed. Other than that is was great. We are planning to visit again. If you are visiting Burgess Falls via kayak, you should know that there is a part where you will need to get out and either pull your kayak over land, or walk your kayak thru the small rapids. Then you will reach another part where you will need to beach your kayak and walk along the rocky bank for awhile to reach the falls. It is worth it, but keep in mind in case you have children or people who might not be able to make the trek. "
