"We stayed slightly off-season here (mid September). The complex was very quiet and we were lucky to have a third-floor unit with a nice view from the balcony and some of the windows. There are a lot of great recreational amenities in this complex, although not all of them were in top condition or well-maintained. Still, for the price we thought that this was a really good value. The complex is very large and nicely situated, right on the beach on the ocean side and a few minutes’ walk to the sound side and the Duck boardwalk. We really appreciated the indoor and outdoor pools, the Pickleball court, the hot tub, but there were also lots of other recreational options, like basketball and volleyball, corn hole, even outdoor chess. The apartment was nicely, appointed and clean, if a little dated in the kitchen and bathrooms. Still, for the money, it was large and had good flow. "

"We decided to book a last minute weekend away and just kind of stumbled on the Slice of Lime listing. It had a very unique location with a pool, hot tub, close to the beach and a wonderful open floor plan. We’re a family of 3 plus our two dogs and our host made everything easy. They aren’t kidding when they mean 4x4 and our Jeep handled the trip to the house easily. A weekend almost isn’t enough. I could sit outside and enjoy the sounds of the ocean and watch for the wild horses all day. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful addition. Especially for our active 13 year old. I highly recommend this property if you are looking to just kind of get off the grid and escape the crazy every day. "

"I am blown away by the sanderling. What a beautiful resort. I understand it needs some updates and will undergo a renovation in November, but this hotel is absolutely wonderful. Beachfront with many dining options and remains chic and timeless. We will be coming every year now."

"This is my second time at this property. Stayed here with my adult daughter at the beginning of summer and I liked it so much I came back myself for the end of summer! Great location right on the beach, watch the sun rise over the Atlantic from the deck. Clean and well stocked, cute property close to lots of restaurants and activities. Can’t beat it! "

"The house and neighborhood are beautiful. The walk to the beach is short. However, the house is not well maintained by the management company. The air conditioning system and fridge were not working well. Also, the master bathroom had mold. No amenities like trash bags "
