The Collection Barcelona welcomes you to this modern and bright 4 bedroom / 3 bathroom flat, located at the heart of Barcelona's City Center, perfect for those who want to stay in the old neighbourhood of the city with plenty to do on your doorstep. The apartment is located next to Las Ramblas and Liceu theater.

The Space:
Welcome to this 140 m2 spacious and bright flat in a historical building located next to Las Ramblas and the emblematic centre of Barcelona, Plaça Catalunya. Barcelona’s historic Old Town is an ideal spot for art and culture lovers, containing some of the most emblematic monuments and museums of the city.

We manage other apartments in the same building, really convenient for big families, groups of friends or business trips.

The apartment has a capacity for up to 10 people distributed in 4 bedrooms:

The Neighborhood:
El Raval is a cosmopolitan and multicultural neighborhood that is part of the Ciutat Vella district, the historic part of Barcelona. It is the perfect place for lovers of history and culture, as it is home to emblematic monuments and museums of Barcelona. The Palau Güell, the MACBA, the CCCB and the famous Mercado de la Boqueria are some of the symbols of this neighborhood where people of all nationalities converge.

Getting Around:
- The apartment is located 5 minutes away from Liceu metro station (L3) by Las Ramblas.
- The easiest way to get from/to the airport is taking the Aerobus at Plaza Catalunya, this costs around 4,50 EUR per person.

Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***

- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small fee of 2.25€ + VAT per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. Also, from 2022 Barcelona City Council applies 3.25€ + VAT to the tourist tax as a city tax fee, also per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights.

- This cost of 6.65€ per person over 17 years old and per night up to a maximum of 7 nights IS NOT included on your reservation.

- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.

- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-in time is at 17:00 hrs
Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)

*** HOUSE RULES ***

1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.

Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

VRBO should be ashamed to sponsor this apt

The apt is very, very run down. All bathrooms were moldy. A door knob was completely ripped off a bathroom door, leaving a gaping hole. There were brackets where there used to be curtains, at several windows, and the curtains that were up, were sagging and missing hooks. There were lifted and loose tiles throughout. Scuffed and dirty walls and the floors were filthy. Weather stripping was hanging off all the exterior doors. Nowhere to put suitcases, so we had to put them on the dirty floor. Disturbances outside our apt every night in the street and in the hallway, by the front door, cutting into our sleep time. We travel ALOT and this is, by far, the worst place we've ever stayed. The host would not work with us. We tried, for the first hour, to get out of there.
