"Owner was a bit slow to get us to check-in in time, but otherwise was super communicative. Property was simple, but clean and in a great location. I would stay here again."

"They took out deposit with zero communication. We booked and paid half, they didn’t contact us for the further payment, just took the deposit and cancelled without notice, ruined our joint family reunion, then kept the large deposit. "

"Great location in easy walking distance to everything you would want to do in Galway. Room was clean and well maintained. Bathroom desperately needed shelving near sink and in the shower. Portable air conditioner took some tweaking but worked. Room could use a small refrigerator and a luggage storage option for early arriva. Overall a nice stay. Would rent again. "

"The house is bigger than it looks in the pictures. It has everything you might need. The sitting room is amazing, surrounded by windows so you are looking at the Burren from the sofa. The kitchen is huge and we liked having the dining table there close to the big windows. It’s very quiet and very comfortable, and it’s just five minutes by car from town. "We stayed for two nights and had a lovely, peaceful time. The food was delicious, prepared by Joyce, and we got a ton of advice and insight about the area and Ireland in general from Aidan. They were very friendly and welcoming, and the house and grounds are gorgeous and steeped in Irish history. If we ever come back to Tuam, we'd happily stay again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The property was very clean and it was a great location for exploring the city. The one issue we had was with the laundry machine. "

Not only was the home beautiful, but it allowed for everyone to have their own space to relax and we never felt like we were on top of one another. It was close enough to the city but far out enough that it was a quiet place to relax at night!"

"Everything about our stay at Nile Lodge was above and beyond expectation! Marie welcomed us like family--and even supplied us with wonderful breakfast treats and excellent suggestions for how to spend our time in Galway. The house is absolutely gorgeous! It's historic and elegant but cozy and set within a quiet private garden, but is within an easy walk to all the main sites of Galway. And its great to have easy and safe parking right out front. I highly recommend!"
