"Fantastic property, located in a rural area close to Centelles. We felt as if we had stepped back in time, yet all of the modern amenities were provided. We had originally booked just one night but extended our stay because we felt we just needed more of this place! The staff were very friendly and kind. There is a restaurant in the hotel which serves an excellent dinner, so once we arrived, we just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. Plus, there is a lovely saltwater pool. If we have the chance, we will most definitely return for a longer stay. "

"We had a fantastic stay in Villa Encina. Situated on the edge of a town with all amenities close by, it is a spacious, modern villa with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The outside space is lovely and has spectacular views. We loved the outdoor kitchen for bbq-ing and hanging out together, and it also provided much needed shade. It’s less than an hour by car from Barcelona and has a train station near by. Very good communication from the owner who made sure we had everything that we needed. We would definitely stay here again, loved it. "

"The staff don't speak or understand Catalan, the main language in the area. They charge extra 25€ fee to clean the room when you come with a pet (little or middle size. Big size dogs are not allowed), but the room, initially, was extremely dirty. The floor was full of dust and hair from other guests (nobody cleaned that room the past two months. We even found a bag from previous guests). The room was an OK size, but the heater did not work well either. We even switched to cold air, but the temperature was the same. The pool is pretty old, smells bad (too much chlorine), and makes you feel odd. Not good for relaxing. I would qualify it as a 2 stars hotel, maximum 3 stars. No way this is a 4 stars hotel. And for sure, I am not coming back."
