"The property was not the standard I expect of Expedia. The heating was on a schedule such that at night the temperature in the house was around 6 degrees giving me a backache until I asked the owner to keep the temperature at a constant 23 degrees. There no toiletries provided till I asked the owner to provide them. There was only one bowl for porridge until I asked for more of the owner. "Overall, very comfortable and location was very central. Well equipped except for cleaning materials. Off site parking was a challenge. The house could have been cleaner - there was food left in the fridge which we had to throw away. The outside table was very dirty. No antibac spray to clean it. Bathroom window didn't open nor did one window in the twin room. I wouldn't describe it as pet friendly as pets are not allowed upstairs where the main living accommodation is. "A three night stay in Lodge 9 was really brilliant! It was secluded in a lovely woodland area. The lodge was very spacious with very impressive en-suite and bathroom. The swift local bus service at the main gates allowed us to visit Canterbury and Folkestone without the hassle of parking. The facilities for tennis, table tennis, snooker and putting ensured we were kept busy. The only slight disappointment was the pool was quite small and shallow."

"Have to say Joel on the night shift check in service was so helpful and gave more of a 5star service went the extra mile I stay in a lot of budget hotels throughout the country and is by far wasted at the holiday in and should be in a posh 5 star as he went the extra mile "
