"Hotel was in a great location for the parks. It is older and small but it was comfortable. The little restaurant was excellent and priced well. The food did not let us down. Only thing that could make this better is new towels. "

"I had a wonderful time visiting the RV resort, and stayed in one of the houses on the property. The property is well kept, the surrounding area is beautiful, and the host is a great communicator. I will definitely stay here again if I am in the area."

"What a fantastic stay we had at John Muir Lodge! Every detail was perfect, from the coffee in the lobby in REAL ceramic mugs, friendly and helpful staff, clean comfortable rooms, quick walk to a fantastic restaurant, gift shop and market at Cedar Grove! I cannot say enough. Highly recommend. Anyone with anything negative to say about the lodge should go stay at a fancy hotel in civilization…you just don’t get it IYKYK"

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.my only complaint is they dont offer a eaay to ready hiking map.they only offer a driving map and a smaller map of 3-4 smaller trails.but they offer a free bus service to and from several popular attractions close by! "
